Each media request leads to a contact form on our site. Do respond to email requests as soon as possible with complete information. Feel free to also search through our website for requests.


Media contacts reach out to selected responses for more information. Media contacts will then follow up with the final story link or location. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee a media response.

Furthermore, a PR agency are not 100% focused on you since they have multiple clients. Most PR agencies are expensive and out of reach to small business owners.

PR Hound empowers any small business owner to do PR themselves. We connect you local media contacts and give you guidance on how to become a PR expert. We pride ourselves on being accessible and affordable.

2Why do you offer a 2-month trial?
We believe that PR is the best thing since sliced bread and we want to give you enough time to form the same opinion. 2 months is more than enough time for you to understand the full scope of PR, learn how to confidently respond to media requests and see results.
3What is Public Relations (PR)?
Public relations is the act of managing your relationships with the public: customers, employees, suppliers, investors, community and media. At PR Hound, we deal specifically with the media, yet, we do try to educate you on all things PR through PR School'd.
4Do you provide guidance or help when we respond to a media request?

We provide a detailed user guide on how to respond with examples and a "before you send" checklist. You can access the user guide here.

If requested, we are more than happy to review your first ever response, but we cannot guarantee that you will be chosen or that we will deliver feedback before the request deadline.

5Do you guarantee results?

The beauty about PR is that it builds credibility since a media contact is not paid to talk about you, but wants to. Thus, the media contact's stamp of approval is seen favourably with their audience.

The unfortunate thing about PR is that you can't get a media contact to do what you want. Therefore, PR Hound can't guarantee results. What we do is greatly improve your chances and save you a lot of time and effort.

6What kind of media outlets are included in your service?

We handpick the outlets ourselves and look for established, reputable, local media outlets. We measure them based on readership or followers, their target audience and their reputation in their media category.

Our media contacts have to adhere to our guidelines. If you want to complain about one of our contacts, please email us at hound(at) We'll get back to you within 2 business days.

7I love the service, but why do I have to pay?

While the service may seem simple to execute from the outside, on the inside, we work really hard to make it look that way.

We love what we do, but cannot sustain ourselves on love alone (sad face). What you pay helps us live another day.

8I've used a similar free service before, how is PR Hound different?

11Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
You can cancel you subscription at any time, but depending on when, you may not be eligible for a refund.

For "Pay-As-You-Go" subscribers, you have up to 2 days after your monthly payment to get a refund for the month. If you cancel your subscription at any time after that, you will not receive a refund.

For "Friends for a Year" subscribers, you have up to 14 days to cancel your subscription and receive a full-refund.
